Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 litre cow milk for cheena


  • 1 nos big lemon


  • 4 cups sugar


  • 1/2 litre milk for rabri


  • 1-2 nos kesar few strands


  • 2 tbsp dry fruits to garnish

Directions

  • Boil cow milk and add lemon juice.
  • Let the milk curdle and strain out the paneer or cheena
  • Hang it in the muslin cloth for 4 to 5 hours .
  • Take the cheena out and mash it using your palm for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, Boil four cup water and add two cup sugar to it.
  • Make round balls of cheena and add it to the boiling water. Cover the lid and cook it for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • In another pan, add half litre milk and sugar to it. Boil it for 15 to 20 minutes and add kesar strands and dry fruits .
  • Add the cooked round balls of cheena to the milk and serve it chilled.
